Woman in hijab gets smacked in head by DNC attendee for sneaking anti-Israel banner into Biden’s speech

The Democratic National Convention had already seen its share of action when a protester was smacked by a “We Love Joe” sign.

The protester, a woman wearing a hijab, had pulled out a “Stop arming Israel” banner during a speech by President Joe Biden, after which the attendee can be seen thumping her on top of the head with the long sign.

In a less violent version of protesting the anti-Israel message, WaPo reporter Dylan Wells posted that delegates attempted to cover the banner with their own “We Love Joe” signs.

First protest I’ve seen inside the arena: a banner reading “stop arming Israel.”

At another point, attendees attempted to rip the banner away from the protesters:
