Musk gives hilarious and prompt response to Trump’s offer of WH role: ‘America loves this duo!’

X owner Elon Musk is once again proving that he has a sense of humor, even as he has a potential presidential advisory role in the works.

Former President Donald Trump had an interview with Reuters on Monday, where he revealed that he was open to the idea of giving Musk a position within his White House, should he be reelected in November.

“He’s a very smart guy. I certainly would, if he would do it, I certainly would. He’s a brilliant guy,” Trump remarked.

This prompted a quick, hilarious response from Musk.

“I am willing to serve,” he tweeted, along with an AI-generated photo of himself behind a podium emblazoned with the words “Department of Government Efficiency,” or “DOGE” for short.

This is a reference to a joke cryptocurrency called “Dogecoin” which Musk promoted aggressively in the past.
