Republican nominee Donald J. Trump suggested that there is more than a little bit of resentment from lame duck President Joe Biden for VP Kamala Harris after he was overthrown.
This week isn’t likely to be a happy one for Biden who instead of accepting the Democrat nomination in Chicago will have to watch his own DEI hire showered with love by the media and those who he mistakenly thought were his friends, an awkward situation for a proud and stubborn man.
Trump poured gasoline on the fire during a speech to supporters in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, a state critical to his hopes of returning to the White House as well as Biden’s home turf.
Trump: Joe Biden hates her, ok? Hates her. You don’t mind if I go off teleprompter for a second, do you? Joe Biden hates her. This was an overthrow of a precedent. I spent a hundred million dollars fighting Biden pic.twitter.com/hJvvXWEH0D

“Hey look, look, Joe Biden hates her, ok,” Trump said. “Hates her. You don’t mind if I go off teleprompter for a second, do you? Joe Biden hates her. This was an overthrow of a president. This was an overthrow.”
Trump also suggested that the feeling may be mutual and Harris wants to detach herself from Biden which seems to be obvious considering the party’s decision to schedule the geriatric career politician’s speech on the first day of the convention when nobody will be watching.
“Kamala Harris wants NOTHING TO DO WITH CROOKED JOE BIDEN. They are throwing him out on the Monday Night Stage, known as Death Valley. He now HATES Obama and Crazy Nancy more than he hates me! He is an angry man, as he should be. They stole the Presidency from him — ‘It was a Coup!’” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The installation of Harris – a national joke just a month ago – over Biden who overwhelmingly won the primaries just has a very bad smell for the party of “our democracy” and is so unseemly that even New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd is calling a spade a spade.

In her Saturday piece titled, “The Dems Are Delighted. But a Coup Is Still a Coup,” Dowd writes that all of the talk about the “joy” of “Kamalot” is just a façade that conceals a party that is dripping with resentment over how the replacement of Biden was handled.
“Top Democrats are bristling with resentments even as they are about to try to put on a united front at the United Center in the Windy City,” she wrote. “A coterie of powerful Democrats maneuvered behind the scenes to push an incumbent president out of the race.”
“The presidency was taken away from Joe Biden, and I’m no Biden fan,” Trump said during a recent press conference. “But I’ll tell you what, from a constitutional standpoint, from any standpoint you look at, they took the presidency away…”
