Kamala Harris ‘ditches’ her press pool amid her best ‘basement Biden’ impression

It seems that the best way for Democrats to get their candidates elected is to hide them from public scrutiny until November arrives.

Vice President Kamala Harris has somehow managed to avoid mainstream media interviews and sit-downs despite her short campaign meaning she has less time to sell herself to the American people. Her policy positions are still unclear, her record as veep has gone largely unchallenged, and now it appears that she’s dodging the press pool as well.

Fox News’s Peter Doocy discussed the unprecedented move that is raising some red flags:

“Something new tonight, as the presumptive nominee, Vice President Harris is supposed to travel everywhere she goes with a protective press pool. We just learned that she left her press pool behind to attend an event at Howard University yesterday,” he said. “We’ve reached out to her office, we are awaiting an answer back from them as to why she didn’t want a small group of reporters documenting her trip across town.”
