Repeat offender on probation assaults female NYC officer before INSANE arrest ensues

Wild video captured the arrest of a repeat offender who was reportedly on probation at the time he attacked a female officer, leaving her bloodied and stunned.

The incident happened Thursday evening in the Bronx, according to the New York Post. The video shows a young black man getting roughed up by officers who are trying to detain him when the camera pans to the left and captures the shocking image of a bloody NYPD officer clinging to a bystander.

The camera returns to the suspect who is now on the ground with his buttocks fully exposed as a male officer tries to wrestle his hands behind his back.

The altercation allegedly started when the female officer attempted to de-escalate a situation involving the suspect arguing with a group of kids, according to law enforcement. The officer was taken to the hospital, treated for a cut on her lip, and released. The suspect, Ernst Delma, was charged with assault on a LEO, obstruction, and resisting arrest.
