A number of high-profile black “journalists” are upset that former President Donald Trump will be asked questions by black journalists.
This week the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) invited Trump to attend a Q&A (question and answer) session at its convention Wednesday.
“Trump will engage in a Q&A with political journalists before an audience of registered convention attendees that will concentrate on the most pressing issues facing the Black community,” the NABJ said.
“The event will be moderated by Rachel Scott, senior congressional correspondent for ABC News; Harris Faulkner, anchor of The Faulkner Focus and co-host of Outnumbered on FOX News; and Kadia Goba, politics reporter at Semafor,” they added.

This announcement triggered fire and fury from the legions of black leftists who play-act as serious, actual journalists, with former CNN propagandist April Ryan (who evidently was once a former NABJ “journalist” of the year”) leading the charge.
“The reports of attacks on Black women White House correspondents by the then president of the United States are not myth or conjecture, but fact,” she wrote in a tweet, complaining about Trump’s longtime legitimate criticism of propagandists like her.
“To have a presumed orchestrated session with the former president is an affront to what this organization stands for and a slap in the face to the Black women journalists (NABJ journalists of the year) who had to protect themselves from the wrath of this Republican presidential nominee who is promoting an authoritarian agenda that plans to destroy this nation and her democracy with his Project 2025. I object to this NABJ session with Donald Trump in Chicago,” she added.

Remember, this clear-cut partisan actor is supposed to be a journalist.
Keith Boykin, also formerly with CNN (surprise, surprise), also went with this petty, thin-skinned angle of attack.
“As NABJ gives a platform to Trump, I would hope they ask him about the many times he attacked Black journalists like Yamiche Alcindor, April Ryan, and Don Lemon,” he tweeted.
“But Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner is on the panel, and she has shown herself to be in the tank for Trump,” he added.

FYI, Fox News’ Faulkner, an actual journalist, has never once shown herself to be “in the tank for Trump.” However, unlike her “journalist” peers, who only ever attack Trump, she’s been willing to both praise AND criticize Trump as necessary, based on the particular situation.
Next up is NABJ Co-Chair Karen Attiah, a rabid antisemite who responded to Trump’s invitation by withdrawing from the convention altogether.
“I have decided to step down as co-chair from this year’s #NABJ24 convention in Chicago,” she wrote in a tweet. “To the journalists interviewing Trump, I wish them the best of luck. For everyone else, I’m looking forward to meeting and reconnecting with all of you in the Windy City.”
“While my decision was influenced by a variety of factors, I was not involved or consulted with in any way with the decision to platform Trump in such a format,” she added.
