Republican party nominee Donald J. Trump spoke at the Bitcoin 2024 Conference, at one point asking a question of country star Billy Ray Cyrus about his daughter Miley who’s a rabid leftist.
During the Saturday event in Nashville, TN, the former president, who was the keynote speaker, brought up the 62-year-old singer’s name, giving him props for performing at the funeral for Corey Comepratore, the volunteer firefighter who took a sniper’s bullet while protecting his family during the failed assassination attempt on Trump.

“He was so incredible this one,” Trump told the crowd. “He went and he played at the funeral of a great fireman who was killed, fire chief killed a week and a half ago at the rally and Billy Ray Cyrus went and played music for the family and was supposed to be so incredible, I’ve heard it, and Billy Ray Cyrus is here.”
“Where is Billy Ray? He’s around here someplace, and he’s great. He’s a conservative guy. I said, how did you get such a liberal daughter? How did that happen Billy Ray? Trump asked.
No fan of Trump, Miley Cyrus described him as a “completely racist, sexist, hateful assh*le” in a 2019 interview with Vanity Fair.
She also once said that she’d leave the country if he was elected but like so many other anti-Trump celebs, walked it back.
The elder Cyrus has had strong words for his leftist daughter, and according to The Daily Mail, was captured on a leaked audio recording saying, ‘Everyone knows that devil’s a skank.’

“Corey Comperatore is a[n] Army reservist veteran and former firefighter chief. Billy Ray Cyrus has always been passionate about honoring troops and first responders. Today he was honored to join the family and perform during the service,” an anonymous source told Fox News Digital last week. Trump confirmed the singer’s gesture of respect for the fallen family man during his speech at the Bitcoin conference.
During his speech, Trump told the audience that he would make America the world leader in cryptocurrency technology which the authoritarian Democrats led by failed presidential candidate and fake Indian Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is determined to put under the heel of the government jackboot.
“Sadly, we see the attacks on crypto,” Trump said, according to the New York Times. “It’s part of a much larger pattern that’s being carried out by the same left-wing fascists to weaponize government against any threat to their power. They’ve done it to me.”
“Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s anti-crypto crusade will be over” he added, vowing that “the moment I’m sworn in, the persecution stops and the weaponization ends against your industry.”
“I’m laying out my plan to ensure that the United States will be the crypto capital of the planet and the Bitcoin superpower of the world,” Trump said to uproarious applause from the crowd, adding “America will once again be a nation that protects property rights, privacy, freedom of transaction, freedom of association and freedom of speech.”
In addition to the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, other stars in attendance at the conference included Kid Rock, a loyal ally of the former – and perhaps future – president.
Also speaking at the event were former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., comic and social commentator Russell Brand, and NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
