President Joe Biden’s damage control tour continued with a second primetime interview on Monday, this one with NBC’s Lester Holt who appeared to get under his skin.
Following up on his previous sit-down with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, a longtime Democrat Party lickspittle, the geriatric leader fielded questions from the more respectable Holt who, while also lobbing softball questions, did manage to get off a few that rattled Biden.
In one exchange, the NBC News anchor noted that the 81-year-old “appeared to be confused” during his CNN debate with former President Donald J. Trump, a disaster of a performance that sparked an internal party coup to force him to step down as the nominee.

“In your last TV interview, you were asked if you had watched the debate. Your answer was, ‘I don’t think so, no,’” asked Holt during the interview which aired on Monday night, “Have you since seen it?”
“I’ve seen pieces of it. I’ve not watched the whole debate,” the president responded.
“I guess the question is, are you on the same page?” Holt asked. “Are you seeing what they saw, which was moments of, frankly, you appeared to be confused?”
“Lester, look. Why don’t you guys ever talk about the 18– the 28 lies he told?” Biden shot back despite the boatload of lies that he himself told during the debate in his more coherent moments. “Where are you on this? Why don’t the press ever talk about that? Twenty-eight times it’s confirmed he lied in that debate. I had a bad, bad night. I wasn’t feeling well at all. I screwed up.”
“I just ask the question because the idea that you may or may not have seen what some of these other folks have seen, you’re not on the same…,” Holt responded before Biden cut him off.
“I didn’t have to see, I was there,” Biden interrupted, before bursting into creepy laughter. “I didn’t have to see it, I was there, and by the way, seriously, you won’t answer the question, but why didn’t the press talk about all the lies he told?”
“We have reported many of the issues that came up in that debate,” Holt said, defending his network.
“No you haven’t,” Biden said, seeming to suggest that NBC hasn’t been doing its job in spreading the White House’s propaganda about Trump and the debate.
Not that it should come as any big surprise, but Holt passed up an opportunity to point out the octogenarian’s own myriad of fibs at the debate, two of them being the “suckers and losers” hoax and the very fine people “on both sides” lie that has even been debunked by the fact-checker Snopes, even though it took them seven years.
In another exchange that rattled Biden, Holt asked whether he’d accept Trump’s challenge for another debate to redeem himself, or as he put it, a chance to “get back on the horse.”
“Would you be open to doing [another debate with President Trump] in the next few weeks?”
BIDEN: No.
“Is there a sense of wanting to get back on the horse?”

“I’m on the horse, where have you been?” Biden snapped. “I’ve done 22 major events and thousands of people, overwhelming crowds, a lot’s happening.”
At least for now, the Democrat mutineers who have been trying to pack the old horse off to the glue factory have the wind taken out of their sails after Saturday’s failed assassination attempt on Trump.
