At this stage of the game, President Biden is a runaway train when it comes to his mental acuity, with the 81-year-old president simply incapable of properly articulating his thoughts.
Biden’s sentences are halting, disjointed and often incomplete, as his brain fails him when he searches the caverns of his mind, or misdirects him resulting in confusing remarks that conflate various events in his life.
Amid growing calls for Biden to step aside, he stepped into another mess during an interview Thursday with Philadelphia radio station WURD, with critics arguing that the president described himself as a black woman.
“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said — the first vice president, first black woman… to serve with a black president. Proud to be involved in the first black woman on the Supreme Court. There’s so much that we can do because, look… this is the United States of America,” Biden said, according to an audio recording making the rounds.

The White House will surely dismiss the audio as another “deep-fake.” To be fair, Biden was likely trying to say that as president, he was responsible for the first black female vice president Kamala Harris — whose mother, interestingly, is from India. It’s just that he can’t seem to complete sentences any longer.
Biden is famous for his flubs, as the gaffe-prone president has a long history of butchering his remarks. His media allies often claim his stuttering habit as a child is a factor here, but with all eyes in the nation on him, actively looking for cognitive decline, he certainly isn’t helping himself.
In the same interview, Biden also said he was the “first president that got elected statewide in the state of Delaware when I was a kid.”
Whatever that means.
Still, Biden pushes ahead on being the Democratic nominee in November, telling WURD’s Andrea Lawful-Sanders: “I had a bad debate. But 90 minutes on stage doesn’t erase what I’ve done for three and a half years.”
