Wildly popular YouTuber endorses Trump, explains youth support: ‘We want solutions. We don’t want B.S.’

YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul has endorsed former President Donald Trump for president because he’s “the right option” for America.

“Trump is the right option for the country at this time,” he said in an interview this week with The Hollywood Reporter. “That’s just how I feel.”

“I know he ruffles some feathers and says a lot of shit on X or he used to, but we shouldn’t judge someone based off of what they’re doing on X. We should judge how good a job they did as a president. I think he did a much better job than Biden, at least,” Paul added.

The interview continued with the interviewer asking Paul whether current President Joe Biden’s age is a factor.

“For sure,” the influencer replied. “I look at it like this: If you were starting a company, would you want an 80-something-year-old CEO? No. You would want the younger version, someone who still has got a lot of fire left in their belly to be running your company.”

“America is a company. That’s what people don’t really realize about the United States. It’s literally a company and a business. That’s why I also think Trump is great because he’s such a successful businessman who knows how to run a business,” he added.

In a subsequent interview on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Paul stressed that his decision is based more on policies than politics.

“It doesn’t have to do with Democrat or Republican — it’s about which president is going to fight for us and who is going to represent us the best way possible,” he maintained. “That’s really what the young people in America want. We want solutions. We don’t want all this marketing. We don’t want the B.S. put in front of us.”

“This is the smartest generation. We’ve had the most access to information and knowledge out of any other generation. You can’t fool us. We just want the truth, and we want authenticity,” he added.

When pressed as to what issues are most relevant to the youth, he immediately pointed to the economy.

“I know people are struggling with jobs,” he said. “Mortgages are too much for people to afford. Inflation, prices are going up. People are having trouble paying off and going to school, and then they’re feeling like, ‘Hey, I have this college degree, but what has this gotten me?'”

Not much.

Dovetailing back to his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he was also asked about his decision to invite the former president to his upcoming fight against boxing legend Mike Tyson.

Wired magazine reported in April that Trump was “seriously considering” attending the fight, but that was when the fight was scheduled for July 20th. The fight has since been postponed to sometime after the 2024 election.

“With a new date, the fight will now be after the election on Nov. 5. Have you heard anything more about whether he will show?” the interviewer asked Paul.

“I haven’t heard anything since the date being changed, unfortunately,” the boxer and YouTuber replied. “But I guess we’ll wait and see what happens.”

Paul’s endorsement comes two years after he went viral for listing President Biden’s top faults.
