Attorney General Merrick Garland lashed out at former President Donald J. Trump over comments about the shocking news that the federal agents that stormed Mar-a-Lago were authorized to use deadly force.
In an explosive court filing from the Justice Department’s stalled case in South Florida, it was revealed that the FBI who participated in the invasion of Trump’s South Florida home in August 2022 had the clearance to shoot to kill, sparking outrage from the presumptive GOP nominee and his supporters who suggested that the raid to confiscate documents could have turned into an assassination.
At a Thursday presser, Garland slammed Trump’s comments in a fundraising email from Trump’s campaign stating that “Biden’s DOJ was authorized to shoot me” and “You know they’re just itching to do the unthinkable.”

In damage control mode over the incendiary document, the nation’s top law enforcement official said that the authorization of deadly force in an unprecedented raid on the home of an ex-president was standard despite its grave implications and called Trump’s drawing attention to it “extremely dangerous.”
“That allegation is false, and it is extremely dangerous,” Joe Biden’s top cop said. “The document that is being referred to in the allegation is the Justice Department standard policy, limiting the use of force.”
“As the FBI advises, it is part of the standard operations plan for searches and in fact, it was even used in the consensual search of President Biden’s home,” Garland claimed.
But Garland’s denial of anything improper was greeted with skepticism on X, formerly Twitter, which can be expected for anything that a man who has presided over the DOJ as it was turned into a political arm of the Democratic party would say.
He got busted and is now trying to cover it up. Running damage control

Merrick Garland is a liar. It’s his DOJ who’s “extremely dangerous!”

“WOW! I just came out of the Biden Witch Hunt Trial in Manhattan, the “Icebox,” and was shown Reports that Crooked Joe Biden’s DOJ, in their Illegal and UnConstitutional Raid of Mar-a-Lago, AUTHORIZED THE FBI TO USE DEADLY (LETHAL) FORCE. NOW WE KNOW, FOR SURE, THAT JOE BIDEN IS A SERIOUS THREAT TO DEMOCRACY. HE IS MENTALLY UNFIT TO HOLD OFFICE — 25TH AMENDMENT!” Trump wrote on Truth Social after the news broke about the document.

At least one member of Congress isn’t going to be convinced by anything that Garland says about the supposedly benign nature of the “deadly force” verbiage.
“Merrick Garland issued a kill order for President Trump,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). The raid on Mar-a-Lago should’ve never happened. Merrick Garland must be impeached!”
