The long overdue pushback against Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) has finally arrived and President Joe Biden made it clear that Democrats aren’t backing down one inch on the discriminatory policies.
On Sunday, the 81-year-old Democrat spent the day whipping out shovels of bloody red meat to the black voters that he is going to need if he hopes to secure another term in the White House, and a pair of speeches he dialed up the race-baiting.
During the nightcap, at the Fight for Freedom Fund dinner held by the Detroit chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) where he defended DEI to an adoring crowd of black supporters.

“Look, the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion are the core strength of America,” Biden said. “That’s why I’m proud to have the most diverse administration in history to tap into the full talents of our country,” proudly touting his record of hiring based on criteria other than actual qualifications.
“I promised you when I was president I would have an administration that looked like America,” he added. “We have more African-American, we have more women, we have more minorities in our administration than any other administration in all of history. That’s why we’re doing so damn well.”
Then, as he always does, Biden invoked the big lie, this time that Republicans are banning books, a gross distortion of the efforts of some states to protect children from graphic homosexual material in schools and to minimize the racist teachings of critical race theory.
Folks, I never imagined that in 2024, there’d be folks waiting to ban books in America. What in God’s name is that about?” Biden asked. “Not only that, they’re trying to erase black history. Literally. They’re wrong. They don’t understand. black history is American history,” a brazen falsehood, but at that point, the demagogic leader had his racially biased audience eating out of his hand.
Earlier on Sunday, Biden gave the commencement address at Morehouse College in Atlanta, an HBCU where he drew heavily on themes of racial resentment in his appeal to graduating black students.

In a Friday speech at the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C, Biden accused former President Donald J. Trump and his supporters of racism for their opposition to the anti-white tenets of DEI.
“An extreme movement led by my predecessor and his MAGA Republican allies, backed by an extreme Supreme Court, gutted affirmative action in college admissions,” Biden said. “My predecessor and his extreme MAGA friends are now going after diversity, equity, and inclusion all across America. They want a country for some, not for all.”
“If you look at the Biden Administration, they’re sort of against anybody depending on certain views,” Trump said in a recent interview with Time magazine. “They’re against Catholics. They’re against a lot of different people… I think there is a definite anti-white feeling in this country and that can’t be allowed either.”
The cat is now fully out of the bag that “diversity” is just a code word for officially sanctioned racism and keeping DEI policies in place is a hill that Democrats are prepared to die on.
