Keith Olbermann offers tasteless reminder he and Katy Turr were once an item amid leftist in-fighting

Unhinged former ESPN sportscaster Keith Olbermann pursued a rather interesting, if not tasteless path to remind folks that he once dated Katy Tur.

Olbermann found himself in a little tiff with fellow leftist Ron Filipkowski over New York Times columnist Maggie Haberman. This dispute arose after former Trump “fixer” Michael Cohen mentioned her during his testimony in former President Donald Trump’s criminal hush money trial in Manhattan — the convicted liar spoke about his relationship with Haberman, Tur, and Chris Cuomo.

“What’s really interesting is that when he decided not to make @KatyTurNBC a White House Correspondent in 2016 @ChuckTodd took me to dinner to try to get ME to convince her to become an @MSNBC anchor as a consolation prize,” Olbermann tweeted. “Btw Ron Filipkowski has deleted his previous tweet that I screen-shotted because it SHOULD have quoted Cohen as saying he TRIED to get reporters to run positive stories on Trump. Haberman would be his first pitch; Tur and Chris Cuomo among the others.

“I’ll restate my previous observation: at least I never lived with Haberman or Cuomo.”

The deleted tweet Olbermann referenced suggested that Cohen used these media sources to get positive stories out about Trump — Olbermann was quick to essentially preserve their liberal bona fides.

As is often the case, when Olbermann speaks out things don’t necessarily go his way… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on the social media platform X:
