Alex Soros meeting with Cindy McCain has social media buzzing

While there are few people paying attention who need to be reminded, Cindy McCain just sent up a beacon to the world announcing her liberal bona fides.

Well, to be fair, the beacon did not come from the widow of the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), but from Alex Soros, son of the spooky dude George Soros.

“Came away from my meeting with @cindymccain, impressed by her deep commitment to feeding the world’s hungry. WFP is facing bigger challenges than in its entire history. We discussed the urgent need to get humanitarian aid to all conflict zones — including those not in the headlines,” the younger Soros tweeted, along with the image below.

McCain has been focused on feeding the people of Gaza, who overwhelmingly support the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. She said during a recent appearance on NBC’s Meet The Press, “There is famine — full-blown famine — in the north, and it’s moving its way south.”

With a reported net worth of $400 million, McCain is apparently still a Republican, but that didn’t stop her from going to the dark side in 2020 and endorsing now-President Joe Biden. Her reward for doing so was to be appointed as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Agencies for Food and Agriculture — Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly (AZ) made the request to confirm McCain.

Granted, Donald Trump’s stinging criticism of her husband made it impossible for Mrs. McCain to back him, but she could have stayed out of the election.

Either way, Cindy McCain is savvy enough to know the anticipated outcome of an image of her standing alongside Alex Soros, who is reportedly dating longtime Hillary Clinton lieutenant Huma Abedin.

Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, though there was as much venom spewed toward Alex Soros as there was toward McCain:
