Former Playboy Playmate Karen McDougal certainly knows how to draw attention, as seen with a provocative photo she shared on the social media platform X.
The photo features a woman presumed to be McDougal sitting in a bathtub with only her knees showing. Ronan Farrow’s book Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies, and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators is lying on a tray across the bathtub, along with a candle and a glass of wine.
While there is no caption, the post includes the hashtag #Reflecting.”

McDougal has claimed that she had a 10-month affair with former President Donald Trump in 2006, and while she is not directly related to Trump’s criminal hush money trial in New York City her name continues to come up.
Trump has denied having a sexual relationship with the former Playboy model, who was allegedly paid $150,000 in 2015 for her story about the affair — the Wall Street Journal reported that David Pecker, who was publisher of the National Enquirer at the time and a Trump supporter, bought the story through his company American Media as part of a “catch-and-kill” arrangement to ensure the story never saw the light of day.
It’s possible that McDougal may testify in Trump’s hush money trial, in which he faces a 34-count indictment charging him with falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment his then-attorney Michael Cohen made to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election.
In his recent testimony, Pecker said Cohen told him to buy the story from McDougal and that “the boss” would reimburse him — he also testified that there were provisions in the contract to conceal its true nature.
“That suited me because I hadn’t really wanted the story to get out,” McDougal said recently, according to the Daily Mail. “I thought my contract was for work and that it was a win-win situation. I didn’t know the term catch-and-kill at that point. I was a pawn in that scenario because of all the stuff I wasn’t privy to.”
The photo above sure had the anti-Trump forces on the left in a tizzy, as seen here:
