‘Disgusting’: Biden regime reportedly puts the kibosh on ammo shipment for Israel

In what is being called a “disgusting” move, the Biden administration reportedly put a hold on a shipment of U.S.-made ammunition bound for Israel.

Citing two Israeli officials, Axios reports, “The incident raised serious concerns inside the Israeli government and sent officials scrambling to understand why the shipment was held.”

Here at home, the administration’s ammo pause is being seen as a betrayal meant to appease pro-Palestinian voters as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepares to invade Rafah. More than a million displaced Palestinians have sought refuge in the southern Gaza city. And the anti-Israel activists tearing apart university campuses are not a good look for President Biden’s struggling campaign.

“Abandoning our greatest ally,” Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote on X. “Disgusting.”

In a Sunday statement commemorating Holocaust Remembrance Day, Netanyahu made clear Israel will defend itself, with or without America’s approval or aid.

“Eighty years ago, in the Holocaust, the Jewish people were totally defenseless against those who sought our destruction,” Netanyahu said. “No nation came to our aid.”

“Today, we again confront enemies bent on our destruction,” he continued. “I say to the leaders of the world, no amount of pressure, no decision by any international forum, will stop Israel from defending itself. As the prime minister of Israel, the one and only Jewish state, I pledge here today from Jerusalem, on this Holocaust Remembrance Day, if Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone.”

“I say to you, we will defeat our genocidal enemies,” Netanyahu vowed. “Never again is now!”

“Our great ally Israel is fighting for her existence against barbaric Iranian-backed terrorists and Joe Biden is reportedly stopping shipments of U.S.-made ammunition to Israel,” fumed Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.). “This is unacceptable. Joe Biden has completely abandoned our closest ally to appease his Far Left pro-Hamas base.”

In a statement to Fox News Digital, a White House spokesperson insisted the Biden administration has supported Israel’s defense since Hamas savages attacked Israeli civilians on Oct. 7.

“The United States has surged billions of dollars in security assistance to Israel since the October 7 attacks, passed the largest ever supplemental appropriation for emergency assistance to Israel, led an unprecedented coalition to defend Israel against Iranian attacks, and will continue to do what is necessary to ensure Israel can defend itself from the threats it faces,” the statement read.

Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) pointed an angry finger at both political parties.

“Biden wants Israel to lose. Republicans want to check a box of support to make political groups happy,” he stated on X. “Israel left holding bag…”

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) called the withholding of ammunition to Israel “unacceptable.”

“This is wholly unacceptable,” he stated on X. “Israel, our closest ally in the Middle East, is under attack, but the Biden Administration is yet again caving to the pro-Hamas wing of his party.”

“The administration must end this pause immediately,” he demanded.

But, as he faces a motion to vacate, Johnson’s outrage fell flat with many X users.

“President Trump got impeached for a phone call,” the influential Vince Langman replied. “Biden is withholding ammunition to Israel because he doesn’t want to lose Michigan, and all you do is send out a mean Tweet!
