Even the White House is praising UNC frat boys who defended the flag

The patriotism of a group of University of North Carolina fraternity brothers who defended the U.S. flag from rampaging leftist protesters was so inspiring that it even drew praise from the most unlikely of places.

On Friday, the White House weighed in on the Pi Kappa Phi frat boys whose starring role in a video of them holding up Old Glory has gone viral with the young men being showered with admiration, including a GoFundMe page being set up to throw them a “rager” that has already raised over half a million dollars.

When Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked about the incident, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the frat brothers’ actions were “admirable, ” a notable word for a member of a party that isn’t exactly known for its pro-Americanism.

Doocy asked about the GoFundMe and whether President Joe Biden would kick a few bucks into the kitty as he has done for other causes, according to his tax returns.

Biden’s top spox responded that while all Americans have a right to protest, “It is not right to forcefully take down the American flag to replace it with another flag, it is not right, and so I just wanted to make that clear.”

The Fox News bulldog then followed up by asking if Jean-Pierre’s boss would be making a phone call to the patriotic young men to personally thank them for protecting the flag.

“Look, protecting the American flag is admirable. I’ll leave it there,” she said.

“Commie losers across the country have invaded college campuses to make dumb demands of weak University Administrators,” the GoFundMe page for the “rager” reads. “But amidst the chaos, the screaming, the anti-semitism, the hatred of faith and flag, stood a platoon of American heroes. Armored in Vineyard Vines and Patagonia, fueled by Zyn and White Claws, these triumphant Brohemians protected Old Glory from the unwashed Marxist horde — laughing at their shrieks and wails and shielding the Stars & Stripes from Soviet missiles.”

“These boys… no, men, of the UNC frats, gave the best to America and now they deserve the best. Help us raise funds to throw these frats the party they deserve, a party worth of the boat-shoed Broleteriat who did their country proud,” read the page, which as of early Saturday has raised over $516,000, more than enough for one heck of a party.

Fox News Digital caught up with one of America’s newest heroes who recalled the iconic incident.

“Don’t bend the knee to these people. They want to take over. They want to just destroy what this country stands for, bring their own twisted ideology into every orifice of this country. And don’t let them do that,” said Dan Stompel, a junior at UNC who’s studying political science.

“If it really took, like, 30 dudes to stop thousands of people because we take a stand, because we don’t let it slide… If you genuinely believe in something, no other person who’s kind of wishy washy on an issue can question you,” he added.
