Giuliani reminds all what Reagan would have done before first Iranian missile reached Israel

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani believes the Biden administration should have ALREADY attacked Iran.

Appearing on Newsmax this Saturday, he argued that former President Ronald Reagan, who coined the phrase “peace through strength,” would have attacked Iran before its missiles even hit Israel.

“I really do think we’re missing an opportunity, a historic opportunity here — if we had a president like my old boss in the White House,” he said. “Every time [when] I was mayor and I had to make a difficult decision, I would say, ‘What would Ronald Reagan do?’”

“I know what Ronald Reagan would do right now. He would have hit Iran before their first missile got to Israel. And he would have taken out every nuclear facility he could. He would have been trying to look for an opportunity to do that for years,” Giuliani added.

He continued by speculating on how the current limp-wristed Democrat administration would react to strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“Now, we take out their nuclear facilities, here’s what the traitors who run our government would say — they’ll say, ‘Oh, they’ll just build it back up again,’” he speculated. “That will take them 10 years to do. Also, if you really know what is going on inside Iran, if we were to hit them before they hit us, it would destroy them.”

“They obviously are a frightened enemy. You wouldn’t do an attack like this unless you were timid. The best thing to do with a frightened enemy is knock them out. The best defense is a bold offense. This is our opportunity to end the reign of terror that we should have been looking for,” he added.

He accused Iran of being a “frightened enemy”  because their attack was itself very weak and limp-wristed. It consisted of hundreds of missiles and drones, the majority of which were easily intercepted by U.S. and Israeli forces.

That said, many believe Iran committed this attack, no matter how weak, precisely because of President Joe Biden’s own weakness:

Former President Donald Trump for his part is confident that the attack by Iran would have never occurred had he been in office.

“God bless the people of Israel. They are under attack right now. That’s because we show great weakness,” he said at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

“The weakness that we’ve shown, it’s unbelievable, and it would not have happened if we were in office,” he added.

Giuliani isn’t the only one who’s called for strikes on Iran.

“Iran has begun launching drone strikes on Israel. @POTUS — we must move quickly and launch aggressive retaliatory strikes on Iran,” Sen. Marsha Blackburn tweeted Saturday afternoon.

Sen. Lindsey Graham later somewhat echoed this sentiment while praising a plan to provide aid to Israel, tweeting, “It is long past time for Iran to pay a heavy price for the terrorism they sow throughout the world.”

Yet President Joe Biden for his part reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday that the U.S. won’t provide any support for a counterattack.

He went on to suggest to Netanyahu that a counterattack isn’t even necessary, arguing that Iran’s attack was a “win” for Israel because it did so little damage.

“You got a win; take the win,” he said, according to Axios.

The remarks prompted further accusations of weakness:
