‘Blatant Islamophobia!’ AOC leads Dems in outrage when CNN finally slams Ilhan Omar with some truth

The most radical members of the Democrat Party are raging mad at a CNN contributor for speaking the God-honest truth.

Shortly after Rep. Ilhan Omar, a member of the so-called “squad,” was interviewed on CNN this Tuesday evening, network contributor Scott Jennings rightly attacked her as “a public relations agent for Hamas sitting in the United States Congress.”

In response, none of the other CNN contributors flinched or complained, likely because they agreed with his blunt assessment.

Yet Jennings’ words, however true, triggered a massive whirlwind of backlash from the most radicalized members of the Democrat Party, including virtually every member of the “squad.”

“How on earth is this kind of blatant Islamophobia so casually accepted without pushback? This is shocking,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.

“Scott Jennings’ comments are reminiscent of the anti-Muslim bigotry we saw in the George Bush post-9/11 era,” Rep. Cori Bush added. “It is disgusting and must not be normalized. CNN should denounce this hateful, dangerous and blatant Islamophobia immediately.”

“Blatant Islamophobia has no place in our society — let alone on primetime TV,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley likewise tweeted. “It’s dangerous, unacceptable, and cannot be normalized. Got your back, @IlhanMN.”

“Scott Jennings’ comments are disgustingly racist and Islamophobic,” Rep. Jaamal Bowman tweeted. “Comments like this, especially on national news, are extremely dangerous and fuel anti-muslim hate crimes. CNN should never have him on again! This hatred is unacceptable and cannot be normalized.”

The only “squad” member who remained silent was Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat of Palestinian ancestry who too often serves as “a public relations agent for Hamas.”

Responding to these tweets and complaints, pro-Israel supporters pounced, obliterating Ocasio-Cortez, Bush, Pressley, and Bowman for once again and quite predictably being on the wrong side of history.

Some Democrat organizations and even some radical members of the media also complained about Jennings’ words.

Meanwhile, former MSNBC host Medhi Hasan published a tweet accusing Jennings of perpetrating “disgusting racism and Islamophobia.”

Even the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a terror-linked pro-Islam organization, cried foul.

“@CNN must condemn Scott Jennings Islamophobic remarks, which fuel attacks on @IlhanMN & the MN Muslim community, leading the nation in mosque attacks. It’s crucial to reprimand Jennings and apologize for spreading such hate. #stop #Islamophobia,” CAIR tweeted.

As mentioned earlier, all this happened after Omar appeared on CNN for a brief interview and called for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

She later said she’d support President Joe Biden in November regardless of what happens. After the interview, host Abby Phillip asked Jennings if he was surprised by her willingness to still vote for Biden.

“No, she’s a Democrat — they’re going to vote for Biden,” he said. “I am surprised that in the year of our lord 2024 there is a public relations agent for Hamas sitting in the United States Congress.”
