Young people like to be rebellious. It’s in their DNA to push back on authority as they begin to test the waters of adulthood and independence, which may ultimately favor the right.
In politics, the pendulum swings left and right, and today’s intolerant left-wing radicals who eagerly embrace authoritarian control in the name of inclusivity have made resisting their America-hating political dogma the ultimate rebellion in society.
A video shared by Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk offers some hope in that regard. A group of Cal Poly University students are seen on video — egad! — singing the Star Spangled Banner at a TPUSA “Change My Mind” tabling event. The rendition was in response to protesters turning out.
“The kids are all right! A massive crowd has turned out at Cal Poly for our @TPUSA Change My Mind tabling event,” Kirk tweeted. “In response to some protestors, a large group of students led an impromptu singing of the National Anthem. An incredible moment!”

Yep. Sadly, if you want to stand out in a crown today and be seen as resisting the status quo, expressing your love for America is a surefire way to accomplish that.
As for the protesters, it was more of the same — totalitarian fascists on the left calling those who dare express independent thought… well, fascists.

Doing what they do best, which is to silence any opposition, the protesters engaged in mindless chanting when Kirk tried to engage in a discussion — Kirk is frequently accused of being a white nationalist for rejecting the racially-driven woke ideology being pushed on most college campuses:
