The word “belief” is defined as: “something believed; a tenet or body of tenets held by a group.” Our country was founded on beliefs and tenets that, for over 200 years, have been cornerstones of the common liberty of our society. One party of our government has been abandoning those tenets for a century, particularly since 2008, with great risk to us all.
It should be evident to every citizen that the Biden Administration has abandoned its belief in the constitutional duty it has to defend our southern border and faithfully execute the enshrined laws of our land regarding immigration. For one party to decide unilaterally to open our borders and ignore the laws of the United States is an act of tyranny. A multi-party constitutional republic cannot exist if one of the parties therein ignores laws that it does not agree with. It is akin to tyranny, wherein a Tyrant says, and his “party” acts, on the following: ‘This is what I want; this is what I order; let my will be the reason.’ That was the type of tyranny George III exercised in the colonies, whereas, when George Washington signed our Constitution, he knew it demanded that he execute laws he might disagree with personally, because such laws were passed by constitutional processes. Without a common belief in our Constitution, and the faithful execution of our laws, we do not have a constitutional republic or a free country.
The same Democrat Party has abandoned its belief in federalism. Each of the States has the constitutional right and responsibility to defend the security of its citizens. The State of Texas, in answer to 2,400,000 illegal U.S. border crossings in 2023 alone, allocated $1.5 Billion to erect its own security structures on the border in attempts to staunch the criminality, the bloodshed, the human slavery and drug trafficking occurring under the negligible eyes of the Biden Administration. Biden’s answer has been to treat the sovereign State of Texas as a pariah and order federal border agents to remove the barriers. Our Constitution is based on the ideal of mutual respect between the states and the federal government. The Biden Administration is acting as though they are a tyrannical parent, and the states are inferior subjects who must accept and submit to the dictates of the federal behemoth; that is opposite to the spirit and the law of our federal republic.
The same Democrat Party no longer believes in law and order. With the facts before them, that enough fentanyl entered this country in fiscal 2023 to kill the entire U.S. population, the Democrat governors of states and Democrat mayors of cities, still maintain sanctuary status where cartel drug dealers have a safe haven to conduct business. Last year alone, 109,680 Americans died from fentanyl poisoning. And though federal ICE agents found that on average the illegal immigrants they encounter every day have an average of 4 criminal convictions, yet no one is deported.
Perhaps this will be news to the Democrat Party: the primary reason governments are created in civilized nations is for the establishment of justice, so fellow citizens may be free.
When a federal republic, as a species of democracy, is being poorly governed, the constitutional right of the people is to replace the persons in government through elections. Here again, we find that the Democrat Party no longer believes in the citizen’s rights. Even within the Democrat Party structure, super delegates determine who their ultimate presidential nominee will be, not the people. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a scion of one of our great political families, attempted to run for the nomination in his party. He was literally dismissed without a hearing: the powers that be determined he would not be allowed to debate Joe Biden. It can be concluded that this is no longer the party of Robert F. Kennedy Sr.
Further acts of this unconstitutional and lawless party have been to persecute their prospective opponent in the 2024 election. They are attempting to remove Donald J. Trump from voting ballots in 12 states they control. The Democrats have also ensnared their principle political opponent in a half a dozen civil and criminal prosecutions that have no basis in fact. Are these the acts of a party that believes in free and fair elections, whereby citizens choose who occupies the offices of government?
Our form of government, or social compact, is based on every citizen and their political parties believing in the foundation of our society, our Constitution, in order that we may all enjoy a common liberty. Any person or political party which believes that its own will or its own power is superior to the rights of the people to a common freedom, no longer believes in our nation, nor should they be elected.
If you are a citizen who believes in our common liberty, our Constitution, our system of federalism or the basics of governance, as in law and order, you believe in our societal foundations that the Democratic Party has abandoned…
I can hear Democrats now… speaking all over the country, and on TV: ‘We believe in America and Freedom! We believe in law and order!’
No, they don’t! These politicians will be lying to the same citizens their policies betray. You can tell them straight to their face: beliefs are evident in actions, and actions speak louder than words.
