Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) had a profane reaction to his colleague Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) who is trying to slow down the runaway train of the foreign spending package that has replaced the “border” bill.
After months of haggling, the final product of bipartisan negotiations was so bad that the bill was junked with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) then moving to advance a $95 billion package centered around $60 billion for Ukraine along with aid for Israel and Taiwan minus any money for the border, a classic bait and switch.
Upset with Paul’s delaying tactics that had lawmakers working on Super Bowl Sunday, the Pennsylvania Democrat lashed out at the Republican “prick” who was holding up the process.
“We’re only here because of just one prick,” the hoodie-clad galoot told CNN’s Manu Raju. “And he decides that the rest of all of our schedules and our lives and holding up this bill getting to the House for all of this aid. It’s incredibly frustrating and there’s no work being done. It’s just bad performance art.”

While Fetterman has been a changed man since successfully undergoing treatment for clinical depression, particularly with his support for Israel and criticism of the Hamas terror organization that his infuriated Jew-hating progressives, he is ultimately a team player who has a doglike loyalty to President Joe Biden who has made the Ukraine bailout a top priority.

On Sunday, the Senate moved to advance the bill with the support of 18 Republicans loyal to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to advance the foreign giveaway which will almost certainly be passed by America last GOP lawmakers including the feckless grandstander Mitt Romney who called the bill the “most important vote we will ever take as United States senators.”
“I think we should stay here as long as it takes. If it takes a week or a month, I’ll force them to stay here to discuss why they think the border of Ukraine is more important than the US border,” the Kentucky Republican told CNN last week.
“I can say right now, he doesn’t represent me, or conservatives in Kentucky or conservatives across the United States. He’s doing the bidding of Schumer and Biden,” Paul told Raju of McConnell who has also prioritized the funding of Ukraine’s war on Russia over the crisis at the southern border and the ongoing illegal alien invasion.
“These are the enormously high stakes of the supplemental package: our security, our values, our democracy. It is a down payment for the survival of Western democracy and the survival of American values,” Schumer said on the Senate floor on Monday.
The bill will be passed by the Senate as early as Tuesday but faces an uncertain future in the House where Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has balked at the lack of money to address the border issues.
