Father fights off creep who tried to kidnap 4-yr-old son in busy store

Parents have to be diligent when out and about with their children because danger is always lurking, as a couple found out in Miami Beach.

In an incident caught on surveillance video, a creep is seen grabbing a 4-year-old boy by the neck in broad daylight Thursday, right in front of his parents.

The boy’s father quickly grabbed the kidnap suspect, fighting him off after he attempted to snatch the child as his family was leaving a CVS Pharmacy. The boy’s mother was also quick to react, pulling her son from the man’s grasp.

Nicolas Sternaman, 26, was identified as the suspected kidnapper who hunched over the boy, trying to lift him up and flee, WPLG reported.

As seen in the video below, the boy falls to the floor as his father wrestles with the creep.

Sternaman managed to flee before the father could apprehend him, but he was arrested later and charged with battery, kidnapping, and aggravated child abuse.

“Everyone was just shocked because it was so quick and it was so fast. The guy just came out of nowhere,” witness Zachary Jefferson told CBS Miami.

“I’m like screaming at the guy like stop, stop,” he added. “Then I see her purse fall and I know she has important things in her purse.  So I grabbed it and gave it to her. And I’m like somebody call the cops!”
