Wa-Po hack calls for the regime to retaliate legally against Abbott

Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin, who bills herself online as a “NeverTrump, pro-democracy opinion writer,” let it be known where she comes down when it comes to states’ rights.

The propagandist took to social media to push her latest piece calling for the Biden regime to retaliate against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) for allegedly defying the Supreme Court by continuing to put up razor wire to slow the historic flow of illegal immigrants into America — the totals have exceeded 8 million in under three years.

“If Abbott continues to flout the Supreme Court, the feds should return to court to get a contempt order against him. If the executive branch and the courts do not put an end to states’ antebellum-like legal nullification, it will become the norm,” Rubin tweeted.

It didn’t take Community Notes long to address the fact-challenged basis of her argument AND to point out that Rubin listed an incorrect link to her column that redirected to a malware site!

“Abbot has not flouted the SCOTUS order. The order vacated an injunction that had barred federal agents from removing the razor wire; it did not restrict further installation,” Community Notes pointed out.

As noted above, the Supreme Court 5-4 ruling vacated a federal judge’s ruling that the federal government could not remove the razor wire barriers that Texas had put up along its borders, but did not order Texas to stop installing the barriers.

Rubin was skewered online over her poorly thought-out stance… here is a small sampling of some of the responses, as seen on X:
