Democrats are so panicked that their 14th Amendment scheme to kick GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump off of ballots will be shot down that they are threatening Supreme Court justices.
As an anxious nation awaits the high court’s ruling on Colorado’s use of the dubious legal theory to strip voters of their right to participate in democracy, one of the most vindictive and rabidly partisan House Dems went on CNN to demand that Justice Clarence Thomas recuse himself – or else.
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) sat down with CNN’s Dana Bash on Sunday’s edition of “State of the Union” where he called for Thomas to step away from the bench over one of the most important rulings in U.S. history, adding a sinister veiled threat.

“Three of the sitting justices were appointed by Donald Trump. And in addition to that, Justice Clarence Thomas’s wife, Ginni, texted with Mark Meadows about the 2020 election in the lead-up to January 6, as you well know. Should any of the Justices recuse themselves if they take this up?” Bash asked.
Raskin, a fanatical former left-wing academic before he was elected to Congress responded.
“Well, finally the Supreme Court has developed what they’re describing as a Code of Ethics. It’s not binding in the sense that they’re not going to anyone else They could have gone to, for example, Circuit Court justices, You could have had state Supreme Court justices on a panel. But so they’re they’re deciding for themselves again, whether they’re in violation of their code of ethics,” he said.
“But I think anybody looking at this in any kind of dispassionate, reasonable way would say, if your wife was involved in the ‘Big Lie’ and claiming that Donald Trump had actually won the presidential election and been agitating for that and participating in the events leading up to January 6, that you shouldn’t be participating in…,” Raskin added before Bash jumped in.
“So he should recuse himself?” Bash asked.
“Oh, he absolutely should recuse himself,” Raskin replied “The question is, what do we do if he doesn’t recuse himself?”
The J6 committee and impeachment veteran’s words were interpreted to be a threat for Democrats to make transformational changes to the SCOTUS or even a dog whistle inviting an unstable leftist to take a shot at Justice Thomas.

Democrats love to talk about “coded language” and “dogwhistles” — well there they are from Raskin.

Well, they tested it with protests, threats and intimidation at the homes of specific Supreme Court justices and, sure enough, there were no consequences. So, yeah, green light for the next phase.
