President Joe Biden has been the recipient of harsh criticism for jetting off to the Virgin Islands for yet another vacation while the country is reeling from the ongoing border crisis and on Saturday, he revealed his New Year’s resolution.
The geriatric leader and his family have been basking in the balmy Caribbean climate where they’re holed up at the beachfront home owned by Democratic party donors Bill and Connie Neville, emerging to attend worship services and grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant when reporters caught up with them.
Asked by a reporter about what his New Year’s resolution was, Mr. Biden responded that he plans on returning to the resort island again next year after the 2024 election.
“Asked about his New Year’s resolution for 2024, President Biden in St. Croix said he wanted to come back next year (presumably having won a second term),” wrote Toluse Olorunnipa of the Washington Post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Asked his new year resolution, Biden, in St Croix, told us: to come back next year,” confirmed another reporter, Jennifer Jacobs from Bloomberg News who reported that the Bidens chowed down at a local catch restaurant Too. Chez in St. Croix.

Jacobs also shared video of Biden’s excursion into town where the “devout Catholic” career politician attended mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Christiansted.

Not all the locals were thrilled to have Biden dropping by the island paradise with one X user posting video of a boat flying a flag that wasn’t exactly welcoming to the deeply unpopular Democrat.

“President Biden’s dereliction of duty is on full display while he sits on the beach and ignores the thousands of illegal immigrants invading our country daily,” Rep. Randy Weber (R-Texas) told Fox News Digital. “America as we know it will be unrecognizable unless this administration comes to the table, starts enforcing the laws and stops the flow of illegal immigrants.”
