Shrieking pro-Hamas mob shows up at Dem lawmaker’s home at 3 a.m.

A Democrat congressman deemed to be insufficiently supportive of the Palestinians was the target of a mob of pro-Hamas protesters who he said showed up outside of his home at 3 a.m. to harass him over a ceasefire in Gaza.

Rep. Shri Thanedar (D-MI), whose congressional district sits next to that of his virulently anti-Israel colleague Rep. Rashida Tlaib, shared a video of the disruptive activity in which the activists blew car horns and shrieked at the top of their lungs in the early morning hours on Sunday.

In the footage, which appears to have been posted by someone who supported the ugly display at the lawmaker’s residence, a person is seen clad in one of the checkered keffiyeh head scarfs and waving pieces of what appeared to be tattered cloth as accomplices made as much noise as they could, taking out their anger on not only Thanedar and his family, but everyone in the neighborhood.

“This is my home at 3 AM Sunday night,” the congressman wrote on X.

“Detroit constituents of Rep Shri Thanedar visited his house in the middle of the night to get him to #WakeTheFUp about the ongoing genocide in Palestine that he’s supporting. If Gaza’s children can’t sleep from the US-supplied bombs Israel is dropping and babies are being blown to bits, no enabler should be allowed to sleep. #EndTheGenocide #CeasefireNow,” wrote the user who initially posted the video.

“You are complicit in the bombing of Gaza… Your silence is violence. Your silence is abhorrent, and we will not let you sleep!” one of the protesters screamed. “There will be a price to pay…”

“20,000 GAZANS DEAD! WAKE THE F**K UP SHRI!!” Read a sign held aloft by one of the troublemakers.

Thanedar has been supportive of the Jewish Democracy since Hamas terrorists invaded civilian areas in Israel on October 7, massacring over a thousand people and barbarically butchering the elderly, women and children in their own homes. Some reportedly even beheaded babies while others paraded around displaying the corpses of victims like trophies.

A former member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Thanedar broke with the radical left organization over its stance on Israel.

“Today, I am officially renouncing my membership in the Democratic Socialists of America,” he said in an October 11 statement. “After the brutal terrorist attacks on Israel, which included the indiscriminate murder, rape, and kidnapping of innocent men, women, and children, I can no longer associate with an organization unwilling to call out terrorism in all its forms. Sunday’s hate-filled and antisemitic rally in New York City, promoted by the NYC-DSA, makes it impossible for me to continue my affiliation. I stand with Israel and its right to defend itself. There is no place for moral equivocation in the face of unadulterated evil as we have seen from Hamas.”

While it may have been lost on the Jew-hating mob who showed up at his house, Thanedar called for a 72-hour ceasefire last month and for Barack Obama to be dispatched to negotiate the release of the hostages taken by the Islamist savages.

“Today, I am calling on Israel to institute a 72-hour humanitarian pause to negotiate the release of the hostages held by Hamas and the surrender of Hamas leaders responsible for the Oct. 7 attack,” the Democrat lawmaker said. “During this pause, President Biden should appoint a chief negotiator to bring all parties to the table. I can think of no one better than former President Barack Obama to lead these efforts. If, at the end of 72 hours, no sufficient progress has been made, Israel should resume its military operations with the goal of destroying Hamas while minimizing civilian casualties.”
