Masked burglars break into Keanu Reeves’ $7M Hollywood home, steal gun

Do you think they know they robbed John Wick?

“Masked burglars reportedly broke into Keanu Reeves’ home in Hollywood Hills home Wednesday evening and managed to escape with a firearm before police could arrive.

That’s according to TMZ, which reported that officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were at the home earlier in the evening responding to an anonymous call about a possible trespasser at the property.

“[W]e’re told police were back there again around 1 AM when an alarm sounded on the property … and this time officers say multiple men in ski masks were spotted on security cams smashing a window and entering the house,” the celebrity news and gossip outlet reported. “According to our sources, the culprits took one firearm from the home before making a run for it. It’s unclear if anything else was taken, but Keanu was not home at the time.”

Detectives are investigating the burglary, reviewing security cameras from the home and around the neighborhood in the hope of learning more about who may have been behind the crime. TMZ said police are also taking into consideration that the earlier call was made by someone scoping the house — perhaps to gauge the response time from cops.

In 2014, Reeves had his home broken into by back-to-back intruders.

A woman in her mid-40s who wanted to meet him broke into the home while the actor was sleeping in a library chair, TMZ reported at the time. He woke up and spoke with the unidentified woman before calling 911.

The very next day, another woman entered the home through an unlocked door — Reeves was not at home. This woman made herself at home, according to TMZ, allegedly stripping down to her birthday suit, taking a shower and and skinny-dipping in his pool. A cleaning crew called police — both women were taken into custody and given psychological evaluations.

Reeves was granted a temporary restraining order earlier this year against a man who claims he is related to the actor.

“Bryan Keith Dixon, 38, reportedly trespassed onto the actor’s $5.6 million Hollywood Hills property six times between Nov. 5 and Jan. 20,” the New York Post reported, adding that Reeves was forced to hire a private security team.

Nicer neighborhoods in LA are not immune to the growing crime problem in the city, as seen when a grandfather pushing his infant grandchild in a stroller was randomly attacked earlier this week.

“The neighborhood is a Mecca for the Hollywood elite and in October 2023, the median listing home price in Calabasas was $2.4M, trending up 13.1 percent year-over-year, according to Realtor.com,” the Daily Mail reported.
