Fox News host Greg Gutfeld hailed billionaire Elon Musk as “the last man standing” in defense of free speech as the combined might of the corrupt establishment moves to destroy the X platform by suffocating its revenue stream and nuked his own employer too.
On Friday’s edition of “Gutfeld!” the discussion turned to the Tesla/SpaceX CEO’s refusal to grovel during a Q&A at the New York Times’ DealBook Summit over the major corporations that have yanked their ads from the platform formerly known as Twitter, describing such tactics as blackmail and sending them a message of “go f**k yourself.” that sucked the air out of the room.
If Musk’s defiant response lit the fuse of resistance against the corrupt establishment, then the Fox News funnyman dropped the bomb when he jabbed Fox News over caving to the pressure by firing its top-rated host Tucker Carlson earlier this year.

In his “Video of the Day” segment, the Fox News funnyman played a clip of Musk’s chat with NYT reporter Andrew Ross Sorkin, bleeping out the money line where the political left’s most hated enemy outside of former President Donald J. Trump told the likes of Apple, Disney, IBM, Walmart and other free-speech hating “woke” corporations exactly what they can do.
“How insane is it that companies are trying to blackmail the world’s richest man with money?” Gutfeld asked. “That’s like extorting Jerry Nadler with salad,” a jab at the morbidly obese New York Democrat.
“The fact is, Musk may be the last man standing between real freedom of speech and the suffocating block of the censorship industrial complex, which is made up of government, media, and tech forces,” he continued. “He realizes that advertisers have no spine and can be easily cowed by special interest groups in cahoots with political allies.”
“If you don’t believe me, I got two words for you: Tucker Carlson,” Gutfeld zinged Fox News, words that were greeted with stunned silence by the others on the set.

Greg is another TV personality who is not necessarily completely controlled by the people in charge. I think people at Fox News were told that Tucker was off-limits, and not to be spoken of. This is not the first time Greg has broken this rule.

The conservative network’s unexpected and abrupt cancellation of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” set off a jubilant celebration on the left but the ecstasy of the censorship cheerleaders didn’t last long when the resilient journalist quickly landed back on his feet on Twitter, now X, where he is unrestrained by Fox News brass and has become even more popular and influential by before.
