The world around him may be on fire and America on the brink of World War III, but President Joe Biden has jokes.
The feeble, 80-year-old president was delivering remarks in Belvidere, Ill., to United Auto Workers (UAW) union members, having donned a UAW T-shirt in a show of solidarity in their ongoing strike, when a crashing sound was suddenly heard.
Biden paused after hearing the commotion, saying to the person who had just stumbled, “You okay?”
He jokingly added, “I want the press to know that wasn’t me.”

As the crowd laughed, Biden continued his impromptu comedic performance by mimicking being unsteady on his feet before returning to his speech.
The latter remark clearly indicates that Biden, who turns 81 in ten days, is keenly aware of the concern over his mental and physical agility.
Biden has certainly had his share of incidents spurring that concern. The worst include stumbling multiple times while climbing the stairs to Air Force One, falling off his bike during a morning ride in Rehoboth Beach, Del., and falling onstage at an Air Force Academy graduation after reportedly tripping over a sandbag.
As for jokes, he had more to go around while Israel fights to ensure its very existence and American hostages remain in the custody of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.
Commenting — ironically — on his optimism about America’s future, the president quipped, “I know I only look like I’m 30 but I’ve been around a long time.”
