Seal slaps man in the head with octopus — no, not a Navy SEAL!

A 2018 video making the rounds online features an unlikely scenario, even for a fisherman.

In the footage, a group of people are seen kayaking off Kaikoura in New Zealand when suddenly a seal rises from the depths alongside one of the kayaks with an octopus in its mouth. In a single motion the seal slings the octopus in the direction of the kayaker, identified as Kyle.

The caption in the footage below suggests how far-fetched the story may sound, even though true:
