Journalist and podcaster Megyn Kelly shot down a ridiculous claim by anti-Second Amendment activist Shannon Watts who shared an Axios link to a dubious study that suggested the nation’s highest court is rife with misogyny and has been for decades.
Watts, the founder of the nonprofit Moms Demand Action and a fervent supporter of President Joe Biden, took to X -previously Twitter – to boost yet another wacky study claiming that Supreme Court justices have demonstrated a tendency to interrupt female attorneys more than their male counterparts, the product of a gaggle of left-wing academics from two colleges in Massachusetts.
The gun-grabbing activist deviated from her primary mission of disarming law-abiding Americans, who would be left at the mercy of violent criminals if Biden and his fellow Democrats get their way, shared the Axios post linking to the paper with her 601.7 K followers.

Her post caught the attention of the conservative commentator who doesn’t suffer fools and didn’t hold back, blasting Watts as a “clueless moron” in a scathing smackdown that just had to leave a mark.
“Please stop pretending like we are helpless little victims.” Kelly wrote. “Getting Q’d by a Supreme Court justice is an opportunity to convince them, not at a sexist attack you clueless moron.”

“Supreme Court justices are far more likely to interrupt a female attorney during oral arguments than a male attorney, according to a new study analyzing four decades of court transcripts,” Axios stated, linking to the study.
“A female attorney in conversation with Chief Justice John Roberts can expect to get interrupted 2.1 times more often than her male counterpart,” the outlet summarized. “Most justices in the study were more likely to interrupt women; the discrepancy was especially pronounced among conservative-leaning justices.”
Kelly wasn’t the only one to call BS on Watts, other X users had their own take on the touted study which is titled “‘Let Me Just Interrupt You’: Estimating Gender Effects in Supreme Court Oral Arguments.”
This is one of those surveys that clearly was seeking a specific result. You only wanted to find a 51 to 49 result. survey would’ve been buried if it was 49-51

if you can’t handle being interrupted by a Judge, you need to stop litigating

Axios really sets a lot of the Left’s agenda. Seen here in the piece of advocacy above.

According to Watts’ bio on her website: “The day after the Sandy Hook tragedy, Shannon started a Facebook group with the message that all Americans can and should do more to reduce gun violence. The online conversation turned into a grassroots movement of Americans fighting for public safety measures that protect people from gun violence. Moms Demand Action has established a chapter in every state of the country and is part of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country, with nearly 10 million supporters.”
