Biden makes mess of LGBT speech being interrupted by pro-Palestinian activist – night was young

Just a few short years ago, few would have thought we’d see the President of the United States speaking at a Human Rights Campaign dinner about LGBTQ issues with pro-Palestinian Jewish hecklers in attendance, but here we are.

And with Joe Biden playing the part of POTUS, it went about as well as you’d imagine.

“Extreme MAGA Republicans” were, of course, the real villains in the room.

According to Biden, they’re “trying to undo virtually every bit of progress we’ve made,” including banning “Pride flags from flying on public lands.”

“Who the hell…” Biden stated, before pausing dramatically for a round of applause. “Not very presidential,” he admitted.


Parents of LGBTQ kids are “refugees inside our nation,” he quoted a mother as saying.

As the president was lamenting the “hate-fueled rhetoric” and “violence” LGBTQ Americans face and vowing that “the Biden/Harris administration has your back,” he was interrupted by a pro-Palestinian — reportedly, Jewish — advocate, who had a point to make.

Now, to be clear, any rainbow-wearing member of the LGBTQ community would likely lose their head in Palestine.

That, however, mattered little, as President Biden couldn’t hear her point. His approach to handling her was less Vivek Ramaswamy and more Grumpy Old Man.

“Let Gaza live!” and “Ceasefire now!” the woman shouted, according to the Daily Mail.

“I don’t know who’s hollering down there, but I can’t hear you,” Biden snapped back as the crowd laughed.

“I can’t hear her,” he told the jovial crowd. “What is she saying?”

“Well, thank you,” Biden said, addressing the activist. “Whatever you’re saying, I’m going to say, ‘thank you.’ I can’t hear you.”

“Look, I’ve been labeled the most –” he continued as the crowd guffawed. “Oh, I get it. I’m not sure that’s a good thing. No, I’m only joking.”

He then slid back into his speech.

And the speech just got more outlandish from there, with outlandish claims that leave most honest Americans scratching their heads.

“When a person can be married in the morning and thrown out of a restaurant for being gay in the afternoon, something is fundamentally wrong with this country,” he stated at one point.

“And that still exists,” he insisted.


His remarks eventually rolled around to gun control, and the level of panic-porn was palpable.

“Who in God’s name needs a weapon with 100 rounds in their chamber!?” Biden asked.

Ben Domenech of The Spectator tried to put the president’s mind at rest.

“I have good news for you Joe,” he wrote on X, “that weapon doesn’t exist.”
