Former President Donald J. Trump was slapped with a gag order by Judge Arthur Engoron who wasn’t pleased over a social media post about his top legal clerk.

The 2024 Republican frontrunner appeared for the second day in Engoron’s courtroom in his civil trial on fraud charges brought by New York Attorney General Letitia “Peekaboo” James, a Democrat who vowed to use the powers of her office to take Trump out legally.

The left-wing jurist, whose bias was on full display when he mugged for television cameras on Monday, ordered the former president gagged over a since-deleted post to Truth Social showing Engoron’s beaming longtime clerk in a picture with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), something that Trump clearly felt was more proof that the deck was stacked against him.

“Schumer’s girlfriend, Allison R. Greenfield, is running this case against me. How disgraceful! This case should be dismissed immediately!!” Trump wrote with a link to her Instagram account.

“This morning one of the defendants posted on (a) social media account a disparaging untrue and personally identifying post about a member of my staff. Although I have since ordered the post deleted and apparently it was, it was also emailed out to millions of other recipients,”  the judge said in court.

“Personal attacks of any member of my court staff are unacceptable, inappropriate and I will not tolerate them,” he added.

“Consider this statement an order forbidding all parties from posting, emailing or speaking publicly about any members of my staff,” Judge Engoron said. “Failure to abide by this … will result in serious sanctions.”

Judge Engoron may soon be put into a position of following through on his threats, at least according to disgraced former lawyer Michael Cohen, a convicted felon who previously represented the former president.

Cohen appeared on MSNBC where he predicted that the “petulant child” defendant would violate the gag order by Wednesday morning.

“How quickly will Donald Trump violate this gag order?” MSNBC host Katie Phang asked him.

“Probably before we all wake up,” Cohen answered. “You know, the problem with Donald is he’s like a petulant child. As soon as you tell him, ‘You cannot do this,’ he’s going to figure out a way to do it. It becomes his nature. If you tell him no, he wants to turn around and say, ‘I can do whatever I want. I’m more important, I’m bigger, I’m stronger than you, I’m gonna do anything that I want.’”

“I would have liked to have seen from Judge Engoron what type of penalties that he will impose. Rest assured, before this trial is over, there are going to be multiple violations by Donald because, again, he can’t help himself,” he said.

While the judge didn’t spell out what the “serious sanctions” could be, The New York Times reported that “experts said that if the former president violates the order, the judge could fine Mr. Trump as much as $1,000 — or even hold him in jail for up to 30 days, though the chances of that happening are slim.”

Judge Engoron seems to be enjoying his moment in the limelight and has been treated like a hero by the anti-Trump “resistance” media.

“This trial is a rigged trial,” Trump told reporters at the courthouse. “You saw what was just put out about Schumer and the principal clerk — that is disgraceful.”
