Rumors of an extramarital affair between South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem and former Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski have been circulating for years, but following Noem’s recent endorsement of Donald Trump for president in 2024, the story has taken on a new, suspiciously-timed life.
Particularly keen on pushing the scandalous story is DailyMail.com, which, as BizPac Review reported, published what it calls a “blockbuster story” alleging the affair has been going on since at least 2019.

As proof of its titillating claims, the outlet pointed to the fact that neither Noem nor Lewandowski denied the affair.
The “evidence,” DailyMail.com reported, includes out-of-context photos and dozens of “trips that mixed business with pleasure, flights on donors’ private planes, and stays at luxury resorts where their intimacy was observed and noted.”
In response, the governor’s spokesman, Ian Fury, issued a statement, saying, “This is so predictable that you would attack Governor Noem less than a week after she endorsed Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States.”
“As Governor Noem said during that endorsement speech: ‘Yes, I will be attacked for speaking the truth to all of you tonight. Yes, I expect Joe Biden, these candidates, their political operatives, and the media will perpetuate ugly, hateful misinformation in an attempt to destroy me and my family because of my opinions,'” the statement continued.
“It’s nothing new,” Noem said. “I’m getting used to it honestly.”

On Friday, DailyMail.com doubled down on its salacious claims, and this time, it pointed to photos from 2019 that were buried under countless shots on a South Dakota dog breeder’s Facebook page.
“It was a real honor to host Governor Kristi Noem and Senate Candidate and former campaign manager for President Trump, Corey Lewandowski, here at our kennel recently,” Champion Vizslas stated at the time. “Many don’t know, but Kristi herself has a Vizsla and brought Corey here to our kennel for him to pick out one for his son for Christmas!”
“We would like to sincerely thank Kristi for recommending us to Corey, and a big thank you to Corey for listening to Kristi and choosing us for your new puppy!!” the breeder added.

Now DailyMail.com has learned of even more trips together – including the December 2019 visit to Champion Vizslas, a breeder in Roscoe, South Dakota, a two-hour drive from both the state capital Pierre and Noem’s ranch in Hazel.
According to a post on the breeders’ Instagram page, Noem has a Vizsla – a short-haired hunting dog originally from Hungary – and recommended that her lover should get one too.
More “evidence” of a torrid affair includes trips the duo took aboard the private jets of wealthy Republican donors to political events.
“Most frequently,” DailyMail.com dished, Noem and Lewandowski boarded “Louisiana oilman Greg Mosing’s $27million Bombardier Challenger 605.”
“The Challenger 605 features a ‘luxuriously appointed and spacious interior’ with VIP seats, a dining area and leather seats that ‘can also be adjusted into 3 flat beds, for greater comfort,’ says an aviation website,” the outlet notes.
DailyMail.com also relies on numerous unnamed sources to make its case, such as a “Trump bundler” who was “shocked” to discover a “guest log which showed that Noem and Lewandowski were sharing a room” at a 2021 donor retreat in Palm Beach.
Another solid source is “one political consultant” who told the outlet “Ray Charles couldn’t have missed” the “intimacy” between Noem and Lewandowski.
Add the puppy for Lewandowski’s kid, and, clearly, the only logical conclusion DailyMail.com can come to is that Trump’s potential running mate is an adulterous siren, worthy of her own Spanish telenovela.
