President Biden had another “old man yells at kids on his lawn” moment Thursday while honoring Sen. John McCain at the Tempe Center for the Arts in Arizona.
The 80-year-old codger who is overseeing the greatest breakdown of order in U.S. history resulting in millions of foreign invaders crashing our southern border was talking about protecting “our democracy” when a climate alarmist began heckling him.
“All of us are being asked right now: What will we do to maintain our democracy? Will we, as John wrote, never quit? Will we not hide from history, but make history? Will we put partisanship aside, and put country first? I say we must, and we will. We will. But it’s not easy, it’s not easy,” Biden said, just as the man rose to interrupt.
“Why have you yet to declare a climate emergency?” the climate zealot called out, as others around him protested. “Hundreds of Arizonans have died.”

Biden responded, “Why don’t you wait – hang on a second. I’ll be happy to meet you after I speak, OK?”
When the man persisted, going on about fossil fuels, the president paused momentarily and put his head down as others in the room called on the protester to sit down.
Finally, in the same southern mannerism that Biden called 55-year-old rapper LL Cool J a “boy” over the weekend — his media allies acted as if it never happened — he told the protester to “shush up,” claiming he would meet with him after his speech.
“I’ll tell you what – if you shush up,” Biden said, “I’ll meet with you after this. OK?”
As seen below, the man was already being dragged out of the room when the president asked him to be quiet.
Someone from the crowd interrupted President Biden as he was speaking in Tempe. I couldn’t make out what he said, something should be a state of emergency, and said “We need your leadership, President Biden.”

“Democracy never is easy – as we just demonstrated,” Biden said, before picking up where he left off. “The cause is worth giving our all for democracy. To make all things possible.”
Of course, when a Democrat politician starts talking about protecting “our democracy,” Americans should prepare to part with the liberties that our Founding Fathers bequeathed to us at great cost.
Here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from X, including inquiries as to exactly what Biden had in mind should he actually meet with the man:
