‘This got to be a joke’: Hunter Biden denies laptop was his, but claims he was ’embarrassed’ by content

In a recent six-hour deposition under oath, Hunter Biden denied that the infamous “laptop from hell” and its contents are his, but admitted he was “embarrassed” by the sexually explicit images of him that have been published from the forgotten computer.

The deposition, taken on June 29, was in connection to a defamation lawsuit brought by the owner of the now-closed Delaware computer repair shop, John Paul Mac Isaac.

Mac Isaac has accused the first son of “falsely insisting the laptop was not his, or was stolen, or that his information was hacked,” according to the New York Post.

Biden responded with a countersuit against Mac Isaac, “accusing him of illegally distributing his personal data, and invading his privacy”

Late on Thursday, the former shop owner filed a motion in Delaware Superior Court to dismiss the countersuit with prejudice and revealed in the opening brief portions of Biden’s deposition.

Despite evidence presented by Mac Isaac that Biden gave his contact information and signed a work order, the scandal-ridden son of the president “refused to admit in his deposition that he visited The Mac Shop twice in April 2019,” The Post reports.

Biden was forced to turn over bank records to Mac Isaac’s legal team showing his “frequent uses of Wells Fargo ATMs where significant withdrawals were made – all within a few miles of Mac Isaac’s shop,” according to the filing.

In his deposition, Biden claimed he “is without knowledge” regarding his whereabouts on April 12, 2019, but, the filing argues, “Mac Isaac knows exactly where he was.”

Hunter’s “confused and dishonest responses prove fatal to all facts alleged in his counterclaims,” Mac Isaac’s lawyers argue.

The Post reports:

Hunter claimed he was “embarrassed” by publication of private material that would be “highly offensive to a reasonable person,” according to the filing, yet much of the material that a reasonable person would find most offensive, such as sexually explicit photos, was “voluntarily shared by [Hunter] Biden with others through the website, ‘Pornhub.’…

“The use of the ‘reasonable person’ standard should clearly not apply to Biden… It seems what would embarrass a reasonable person does not embarrass Biden.”

The filing goes on to claim the contents of the laptop also demonstrate the younger Biden’s “lack of concern about using his father’s political ties to close deals with foreign countries, some of whom are considered adversaries with the United States (i.e., People’s Republic of China).”

In his deposition, Mac Isaac’s lawyers state, Hunter Biden “Hems and haws about how embarrassing the content of the laptop was while, at the same time, failing to identify what content and if it was even his content.”

Biden “Refused to deny that he signed the work order,” The Post reports while claiming “he did not give consent to Mac Isaac to access the data on his laptop even though he signed a work order.”

“The FBI verified the authenticity of Hunter’s abandoned laptop in November 2019 by matching the device number against Hunter Biden’s Apple iCloud ID,” IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley testified to Congress in June,” The Post notes, adding, “An FBI computer expert assessed the laptop ‘was not manipulated in any way,’ and could be used as evidence, Shapley said.”

On X, few are buying Biden’s testimony.

“He acts like a 13 year old being questioned for cutting school… nonsensical & contradictory replies…” said one user, “yet we’re supposed to believe that this ‘smartest man Joe Biden knows’ was sought after by Chinese, Ukrainian & other oligarchs for his brilliant business talent.”
