American of the Year award goes to the man who shot robber while holding a 6-pack

This may not have been what the Second Amendment was specifically designed for, but I’ll be damned if it didn’t work like a charm!

A convenience store in Cassopolis, Michigan was on the cusp of being robbed, allegedly by 35-year-old Cordelius Anthony Martin, when a good guy with a gun stepped in. Martin was reportedly armed with a box cutter, announcing the robbery after pulling a mask over his face. The customer, who remains anonymous, that nothing was going to get between him and a sip of his favorite lite beer. He pulled out his firearm (complete with valid concealed carry permit action!) and blasted the would-be thief. Of the seven bullets fired, Martin was struck “in the arm, back and face” according to reports, but lived through the incident and is currently being held on $100,000 bond.

Watch:

The clerk behind the counter lauded the gun-toting beer drinker, claiming: “He saved my life.”
