America’s raging mental health crisis was on naked display during a bizarre rush hour incident on a busy Northern California bridge when a nude woman got out of her car and began blazing away with a handgun.
On Tuesday at around 4:40 p.m., police began to receive calls from motorists reporting that they had been threatened by a woman with a gun who was driving recklessly on the Interstate 80 span of the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge which links the two cities across San Francisco Bay.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP), said that they received a call that the woman who was driving a white Chevy sedan brandished a handgun in a threatening manner.
The woman then reportedly stopped her vehicle, got out holding a knife, and yelled at drivers before reentering the car and continued driving toward Oakland but stopped again near the toll plaza.
This time, she exited the vehicle completely naked and with the gun which she allegedly began firing, with the situation causing a massive traffic backup on one of the nation’s busiest bridges during peak traffic.
When police arrived at the scene, they ordered the nude woman to drop the gun which she reportedly at first refused to do but eventually complied and was arrested and taken to a local hospital to be evaluated.
The crazy scene was caught on cellphone video by a passing motorist and has gone viral after being posted to social media.
