Chaotic police chase sees K9 biting the wrong guy, suspect has near-death experience

Whenever you think you’re having a bad day at work, turn on this video and remind yourself it could always be worse.

Policing is one of the most chaotic, dangerous jobs in the United States where even the most routine stop can turn into anything but routine. Florida Highway Patrol officers had one of “those days” where it seemed like everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.

While chasing 23-year-old Isaiah Jamal Collie, who was clocked traveling 130 MPH down Interstate 10, the suspect crashed into a stopped vehicle. This hampered his getaway plans, forcing him to improvise. Collie decided his best choice of action was to run back onto the interstate where he was almost turned into an idiot pancake by a passing 18-wheeler.

Also a police K9 bit a fellow officer, but he’s still a good boy.

Watch:

Why was this guy willing to put his life in danger to elude the police? Well, we don’t know for sure, but a search of the wrecked-then-abandoned vehicle yielded 6.6 grams of marijuana and not one but TWO firearms. So it may have something to do with that.

There was also a passenger in the vehicle at the time, and they were transported to the local hospital for treatment.

Collie, having successfully escaped the jaws of death this time, was tackled by police and promptly arrested.
