Gigi Hadid arrested in Cayman Islands for weed has happy ending: ‘All’s well that ends well’

Supermodel Gigi Hadid was busted for possession of marijuana early last week during a girls’ trip to the Cayman Islands.

That’s according to E! News, which cited the local outlet Cayman Marl Road to report that Hadid was arrested at Owen Roberts International Airport on July 10 after customs officials allegedly found “ganja and utensils used for the consumption of ganja” in her luggage.

Hadid and her friend were reportedly taken to the Prisoner Detention Center, where they were released on bail.

They would plead guilty as sin two days later when formally charged during a court appearance. Hadid and her gal pal were both fined $1,000, according to Cayman Marl Road.

“Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license,” a representative for Hadid said in a statement. “It has also been legal for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017. Her record remains clear, and she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”

After some certainly deep reflective thought over the incident, the bikini-rocking supermodel took to Instagram to share: “All’s well that ends well.”

Hadid, who is the mother of a 2-year-old daughter with ex Zayn Malik, shared a few photos from her getaway, including a photo suggesting she was baked — from the sun or weed we cannot say:
