Talk about a whoopsie moment, the 15th stage of the Tour de France got off to a crashing start when a spectator who just had to have a selfie interfered with one of the competitors.
Chaos reigned when the careless spectator’s outstretched arm, which was holding a smartphone, came in contact with American cyclist Sepp Kuss. The contact caused Kuss to go off balance and as he fell to the pavement a number of cyclists around him were swept up in the crash.
The culprit is seen in a slow-mo replay wearing a white hat while extending an arm into the path of the competitors.

Kuss sustained cuts to his elbow and knee, but seemed to take it all in stride ad he rejoined the race, according to Cycling News.
“Luckily the adrenaline got me through the day,” he said. “I mean you just have to keep going, there’s nothing else to do about it. It’s inconvenient, but it could have been worse, and I still felt pretty good on the bike.”
