‘The View’ fumes at NYT columnist calling out Biden for shunning his 4-year-old granddaughter

Leftists lashed out at one of their own after Maureen Dowd of The New York Times shamed President Joe Biden for refusing to acknowledge the existence of his four-year-old granddaughter in a column that greatly displeased his defenders and it didn’t sit well with the ladies on “The View” who chastised her for not being a team player, saying that she needs to “find something else to write about.”

Biden’s cruelty toward poor little Navy Joan Roberts, who was conceived during a fling between notorious sexual degenerate Hunter Biden and a former stripper, is a growing problem for the elderly Democrat’s image of being a kindly grandfather and Dowd didn’t pull any punches in her column titled “It’s seven grandkids, Mr. President” in which she accused him of “callously scarring” the child.

On Monday’s edition of ABC’s daytime blabfest, the co-hosts made apologies for Biden, blamed criticism on right-wingers, and suggested that Dowd needs to stay in her lane.

“Scarring one of his grandchildren’s lives by not publicly embracing her. So, apparently, his son had a baby with a woman. They’ve fought about it, and he pays for the baby, but he has not embraced the child. So, Maureen Dowd is saying it’s bad for the child that the president has not acknowledged her,” said co-host Whoopi Goldberg .”So, I kind of think, well, that’s a — she should be kvetching at the son whose baby it is. It’s not the president’s baby. So I don’t know what you think, but I’m throwing it out there.”

Ana Navarro piped up, “I agree with you completely. It shouldn’t have been – directed to Joe Biden. It should be directed to Hunter Biden. It’s five children, not four, Hunter, because this is not Joe Biden’s baby and I think it’s very hard for Joe Biden to be a grandfather to the child if his son is not being a father. He can talk to his child. He can advise Hunter.”

“But look, what is absolutely evident to me is that the right-wing and the MAGA world has decided to weaponize Hunter Biden against his dad. And everything and anything that Hunter does or does not do is going to be weaponized,” she said.

Race-obsessed Sunny Hostin later chimed in, “I’m sort of split on this because I hate this for that child. You’re not asked to be born into the world. You’re just a – it’s just a circumstance. And apparently, this was more of a one-night stand. It wasn’t like they had a relationship, he was in the throes of addiction when this woman became pregnant. And she is posting pictures of the baby, like, with an Air Force One cap and at the Jefferson Memorial. And so, she is sort of trying to — I don’t know, wedge herself into the family, and I don’t think that’s the right way to do it.”

“And I agree. I mean, this is Hunter’s issue, and I don’t — I think that the president who loves his family so much, I think is just following what his son has…,” she added, rehashing a theme from a previous show that the sordid Hunter Biden saga is really all about a “father’s love” for the crack-huffing black sheep of the family.

“The reason that’s happening is because the right-wing, who again is weaponizing everything related to Hunter, keeps asking: “So, how many children do you have, Mr. President? How many grandchildren?” Navarro later added, returning to harping about conservatives.

“No, it’s been in speeches he’s written. It’s in speeches he delivers,” Alyssa Farah Griffin interjected.

“Maybe Maureen Dowd should find something else to wry about,” snapped Goldberg.

“Yeah. Write about something else!” Hostin agreed as the audience applauded.

“I’m sorry, you know, these things are — for me, when you start talking about people’s families and what they’re doing, I find it unnecessary. This is not anybody’s business. Nobody needed to know about this,” Whoopi added. “This is private, and I know people feel like you need to know everything. I’m sorry. You don’t. You need to know not almost anything about people. But that’s me.”
