Heterosexual people, aka straight people, are being called on in a video by a transgender person to reach out to a trans person in their life and do one thing to help “lighten their load.”
The individual used the made-up term “cis” to refer to people in traditional relationships, more or less inferring that they have an obligation to help those struggling with proper gender identity.
“Whether that be grocery shopping, folding laundry, doing dishes… ask the trans people in your life if there’s a task or something you can offer them to help with the burden that we’re carrying because we’re having to deal with all this stuff right now while having to deal with all of the life stuff that we regularly deal with,” the person said.
“And then send that trans person $5 so they can get themselves a treat,” the message concluded.
Apparently if you’re straight and know a trans person, it’s YOUR obligation to:
– Do their grocery shopping.
– Fold their laundry.
– Do their dishes.
– Give them $5. pic.twitter.com/GMVVjVv153— Censored Men (@CensoredMen) June 29, 2023
