The Supreme Court wins keep coming as the high court ruled 6-3 on Friday that the Biden administration cannot move forward with its student loan debt relief program — President Biden was looking to go through his Secretary of Education to cancel more than $430 billion in student loan debt.
“The Secretary’s plan canceled roughly $430 billion of federal student loan balances, completely erasing the debts of 20 million borrowers and lowering the median amount owed by the other 23 million from $29,400 to $13,600,” Chief Justice John Roberts wrote for the majority. “Six States sued, arguing that the HEROES Act does not authorize the loan cancellation plan. We agree.”
The delicious irony of Roberts’ opinion is that he cited Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) in referencing the HEROES Act, including her actual quote on the matter: “People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness. He does not. He can postpone. He can delay. But he does not have that power. That has to be an act of Congress.”

The RNC was only too happy to share video footage of then-Speaker Pelosi stating what was obvious to everyone other than the progressive activists in control of the Biden administration, who were looking to buy Gen Z votes with another government handout:

Other big rulings from the Supreme Court this week saw unconstitutional affirmative action programs at the University of North Carolina and Harvard struck down, ending the use of race as a consideration in the admissions process, and a stand for First Amendment rights in a ruling that favored a Colorado graphic designer who refused to create same-sex wedding websites.
But the chef’s kiss was Pelosi being a key factor in denying Biden’s attempt to buy votes… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story from Twitter:
Even former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi admitted it: Biden completely lacks the authority to forgive student loans.

Truth be told, Biden knew his student loan bailout was unconstitutional from day 1
Even Pelosi herself said so in public statements
But he wanted to buy votes in the midterms w/false promises
And young people fell for it
Gen Z voted for Biden & all they got was more inflation
