It takes a different kind of human to switch gears from reminding kids to wear their seatbelts to running toward the sound of gunfire.
That’s exactly what one Allen, TX officer did when he began to hear the sound of rapid gunshots at the Allen Outlet Mall. In a video that is a little over five-and-a-half minutes, the officer can be seen yelling at others to get to safety as he pulls out his rifle and begins tracking the shooter. It doesn’t take him long to find the gunman, who tragically killed 8 people including 3 children, and put him down.
