‘Proudly intolerant’ California Dems show us who they REALLY are when GOP honors Richard Grenell

Democrats are never shy about telling you who they are, by words or actions, but the problem is few seem to take them at face value.

The latest message was one of intolerance sent to the LGBTQ+ community, coming from California Democrats who proved that they don’t support gay Americans UNLESS they share the same hard-left values as the Marxist-inspired progressives who dominate the party at state and national levels.

Republican state senators in California moved to honor Richard Grenell for Pride month. Grenell is the first openly gay member of a presidential cabinet, though Democrats want you to believe Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is.

“During Pride Month, we are proud to recognize Ambassador Grenell for his incredible contributions to the state and nation through his extensive public service career,” GOP Assemblymember Bill Essayli said from the California Senate floor on Monday. “Here in the Republican Party, we celebrate individual achievements over identity politics.”

Grenell served in former President Donald Trump’s Cabinet as acting National Director of Intelligence, after serving as the U.S. ambassador to Germany, and that was enough for a number of Democratic senators to walk out while he was being recognized.

Grenell is no shrinking violet — which is why the left dislikes him — and he responded to state Senator Scott Weiner, a former member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors which laid waste to that city, calling him a “self-hating gay man.”

“It’s an honor to be your enemy. You are a radical voice against common sense, decency and parental rights. You are an apologist for pedophilia & child abuse – and you undermine American values,” the former Trump official said in a tweet.

In another tweet, Grenell said: “The left is proudly intolerant. These California Senators walked off the Senate floor when Republicans honored me today. They just can’t take dissenting views – they have to run out of the room with their fingers in their ears. And this is what they teach our kids today – intolerance.”

There was also this offering directed at state Sen. Caroline Menjivar, who Grenell said was “really delicate.”
