Former McDonald’s corporate chef Mike Haracz posted a video on TikTok announcing a “foolproof test” to determine if your local Mcdonald’s is a good one — Haracz posts frequent videos focused on the fast food chain that once employed him, suggesting there may be some bitter feelings involved. Or just a desire to share his knowledge.
“I have just created a good test to see if your local McDonald’s is a good McDonald’s or not so great,” Chef Mike said. “I have thought this through and you need to go into your local McDonald’s at a peak time, so heavy lunch rush, heavy dinner rush and I need you to order 10 Quarter Pounders with cheese. And you could add some changes to those burgers as well — bring some friends, it’s gonna be a little expensive.”
“If you can get your complete order in under five minutes, and all of the ingredients or adjustments that you request are accurate, you are at a good McDonald’s,” he proclaimed. “If they cannot handle it, then it might not be the best-running McDonald’s. There could be other issues.”

The test is sure to drum up more business for the fast-food giant — at least initially, anyways.
