The rapid response Twitter account for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s campaign raised more than a few eyebrows on Thursday when it shared a video montage of President Joe Biden getting touchy and feely with children.
The purpose of the video appeared to be to take issue with Biden’s recent comment that LGBTQ kids are “all our kids,” as the president’s remarks from the recent Pride Month celebration at the White House are overdubbed in the spot.
“These are our kids. These are our neighbors. Not somebody else’s kids. They’re all our kids,” Biden said at the event. “Our children are the kite strings that hold our national ambitions aloft… It matters a great deal how we treat everyone in this country. LGBTQ Americans, especially children: You’re loved, you’re heard, and this administration has your back.”
The caption of the DeSantis campaign tweet read: “Keep your hands off our kids.”

DeSantis War Room Director Christina Pushaw, who previously served as the governor’s press secretary, responded to the tweet: “Creep in Chief.”
But the liberal media had its own take, with Mediate suggesting that Team DeSantis was calling Joe a “groomer.”
“The official rapid response account for the Ron DeSantis presidential campaign released a new advertisement on Thursday suggesting that President Joe Biden is creepy with children,” the outlet said in an article titled, “DeSantis War Room posts bizarre video suggesting Biden is a groomer.”
The DeSantis War Room account pushed back on that interpretation — rather accurately: “Our video is simply Joe Biden’s words, combined with Joe Biden’s conduct. You are the one who used the G-word.”
As far as social media users are concerned, President Biden made himself fair game here with his troubling comment about kids… here’s a quick sampling of responses to the story, as seen on Twitter:
When Biden’s White House sends out a video saying “they’re not somebody else’s kids, they’re all our kids” he becomes fair game for anyone to highlight his creepy behavior with kids. Period.

Actually, they just posted a compilation video of real clips. You’re the one who just called him a groomer.
