You’re FIRED! MLB pitcher learns a tough lesson about groveling to the ‘woke’ mob

First, they took his dignity and now they took his job. Major League Baseball pitcher Anthony Bass has learned a very hard lesson about bowing to the LGBTQ+ mob which he did after a social media post in which he expressed a positive opinion about boycotts of groomer-friendly companies Target and “Transheuser Busch” and was immediately set upon by swarms of activist enforcers for Big Gay.

Bass not only walked back his remarks – which at least in the U.S. would be at least technically defined as free speech – with a sickening apology and groveled while doing so, even submitting to the symbolic ritual humiliation of being slated to “catch” the first pitch from LGBTQ+ activist leZlie Lee Kam at the first game of the Toronto Blue Jay’s “Pride weekend” series against the Minnesota Twins.

But it was all for nothing because the Blue Jays cut him loose before the big series.

“There’s a myriad of variables,” Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said before Friday’s game. “Performance is usually the driving one and performance was a large aspect of this decision. Distraction was a small part of it and something we had to factor in.”

“We’re trying to build the best possible team we can build,” Atkins told AP. “This was a baseball decision to make our team better.”

The team exec also said that Bass’s ending up in Toronto’s farm system was not a “a realistic option” and that “We won’t stand in his way to be with another organization.”

Can you say blackballed?

Granted that Bass isn’t exactly an MLB All-Star but the moral of the story is that you NEVER apologize to the mob and ALWAYS one should stick by their convictions, especially if they are based upon their religious faith.
